quannum world 2004
it went down tonite...and it was dope!

aside from sticking out like a sore thumb amongst a predominately white crowd, devout to following the all great dj shadow, the whole quannum spectrum was illllllllll!

and if you didnt go to the show tonite, you missed out, kids.
for the first time ever..the whole quannum spectrum was on the same stage, at the same time!...
...for the first time ever..in the world, dj shadow scratched dvds and used them for his visuals to supplement his sets!...
3 hours! they did a 3hour set! and when they were done, the crowd was left chanting "QUANNUM! QUANNUM!! (repeat)"
as a result, an encore performance was at hand!

all in all, aside from being sick and my homie r.j. being sick, that show was ill.

and hey, at the end of the month, pete rock and c.l. smooth are doing a show in toronto, not to mention a tribe called quest and the roots next month!!
that's crazy!

i can't even think of what else to type..im at a loss of words.
quannum gets props.

and i really pity you sheep who'd rather listen to the mainstream - b.e.t., much, mtv 'hip hop' you see.
weak!!

from now on...
the only mc's i shall listen to must use their library cards!
