the day starts off with my mom frying me up some spam and eggs -- nasty to you, heaven to me. anyhow, like all previous first days of school over the past 4 years, the line up for the GoBus was a bitch but that was nothing compared to the seating arrangement on the Go. people were in the aisles...asses were rubbed on my shoulder...smells - all kinds of smells were lingering everywhere. i get to school and can't help but notice the crowd. is enrolment to my school free? are there no more requirements whatsoever? beats me. of course, my school has the reputation of having the hottest girls and as usual, i wasn't let down. however...HOWEVER, glances to fresh meat froshies are short lived and enjoyed once i get it through my head that i'm 23 and theyre 17. i couldnt even type that *shivers in disgust*. rule of thumb...check the girl's shoes. 95% of the time i can tell age by footware. but let it be known, this only applies in southern ontario.

get to school, meet up with the few peeps that i actually have ties to and who are still here, like me, for a 5th year "victory lap". we grab lunch...check out the new buildings and all that good stuff. they leave for the day and my day begins. this is 230pm. i head to lecture. today, it's a scheduled 3hr psychology of education session. i get to class..a 3rd year elective for me...and there's absolutely no faces i recognize. fair enough.

from here, we're asked to draw a figure of a person. from here, i ask you to open up your nearest computer drawing/paint program and/or grab a piece of paper. from there, you should draw a person. not too detailed; i dont want a picasso or anything - just a five minute picture of a person (no cropping or post drawn-altering). and from there, i ask that you link me to it in the comments, or email me so i can post it up for all to see. from there, i'll let you in on what i learned today in class based on looking at an individual's drawing of a person. but remember, you dont see mine till i can see yours. if not, i'll eventually let you all in on the meanings of a child's drawings most of the time.

back to lecture, i knew nobody. however, people talked to me. do i have some kind of face that says "hey, come and talk to me"? maybe it's my mouthwash. from there, we were forced to sign up for presentations later on in the term. i mean who signs up to present about something they've never heard of in their life? no groups were formally formed, people just signed up for their topics, and that was that. whoever the hell my fellow group members are is beyond me. i'll see them at the presentation, i guess.

now' im here on my ibook...wireless....on campus -- coming down from what was the loneliest first day of school (next to kindergarten of course when mom and dad left me to the wolves kids).

but hey...all the more reason to focus right?
then again...im a very social person. new friends, where you at?

- signed, a 5th year undergraduate who knows the ins and outs of this place (at least he thinks so).

p.s. my class was in the new accolade project - west building. what'cha know about that?!! now...i just gotta christen that place by taking a shit in there while it's new and untouched.
