buttah is nice.dynamite tour '05: jamiroquai funkin' up torontome and rj have been talking about concerts that we wish we could see or are worth seeing. some of these concerts pulled through, while others just never materialized for us. a
jamiroquai concert has been a long time coming. i told rj, "if you ever hear about tickets or them coming to t.o., then get tickets - i don't care what the price."
i love the band
that much!
unfortunately, the news reached us a tad bit too late. tickets were sold out. however, rj went on the wonderful world wide web and bought some tickets through a middleman/scalper/whatever you wanna call them. the price was high and not to be discussed here.
although the cost was high, the show was well worth it by light years.
it started off around 8pm. a dj opened up the show hyping up the crowd with rare grooves, funk, soul, disco, jazz and hip hop. the crowd?...the crowd was gold. it was a mature crowd (obviously..who even knows jamiroquai nowadays?). there were girls..lots of girls. black girls, white girls, asian girls. girls! hippie girls. funky girls. dancing girls. there was beer. there was weed. there was fainting (on me!). the concert was just perfect. and that concert - the jamiroquai dynamite -'05 tour, surpassed all my expectations.
jay kay and the boys are coming back in the spring. im there. shout out to rj. thanks dude.
pictures to come......(shortly?).

a blonde guy with long hair and in fur underwear. a sharp sword, a dark castle, a giant ass tiger, a skeletal-like villain and a whole bunch of other crap.
basically, an important slice of my childhood.

[prince adam himself pimped out with the pastels]

the sony bean[
magic bean]

basically sony's answer to the shuffle. i love sony..a lot. theyre superb with the audio and the battery life - two essential things i give a crap about. but sony, youre just not compatible with my ibook (greedy assholes at apple). i hope you don't mind if i have something "on the side" (in the event that i ever get an ipod).
i bow down to sony, though. whatever the case, sony is the king of portable audio - i just don't give a fuck.
although "old school" to most, im still infatuated with my minidisc player.
most of sony's latest portable technologies have users charging a batter for 3 minutes only to get 3 hours of playback! what a tradeoff. did i mention?...it's a 50hr playback life. werd.

if you're looking for an entry level mp3 player, i suggest this over the shuffle, most definitely.

the warriorsdvd &
video game.

a cult classic.
basically, a gang from coney island has to fight their way back from the inner nyc against all the other gang members. why?...politics...deception...vengeance..and just in the good old spirit of going buckwild.
watch it...it's better viewed than described.
50 cent and the g-unit, brace yourself!!! the warriors will bum-rush you suckas. forget a clip.

in closingwho's hotter?...
she-ra or jem?

she-ra most definiately.
although jem is truly truly truly outrageous.
a nice third option would be tee-la, the female who's not the sorceress on the show. (she's in fact her daughter...GO MAN AT ARMS!)
anyways thats that. back to essay.
DUDE! Jem fo' sho.
i remember i had a He-Man figure...poked my cousins eye with the sword a couple of times before she told on me and i got hit. the good old days.
