that's what i've been saying for so long!!!
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A DIET!!!!

for fuck's sake, everyone..believe me! i might be a joker...i might be a goof..i might be crazy..but im NOT..i repeat...AM NOT, STUPID!!


if there's anything i take seriously, it's my skool..and more specifically, it's my field - kinesiology...health science..kinesiology and health science..or in laymen's terms..PHYSICAL EDUCATION!

so that's why when people ask me for a diet..or what they should eat, i say "eat whatever the hell you want!" the keyword, boys and girls, is "moderation". you can eat whatever you wanna eat..just remember, too much of anything is a bad thing.

so please..the next time youre eating low carb..or high carb..or low protein..or high fat..or high bird seed..or low tree bark..just remember, in the long run, youre getting nowhere!

and one more thing...to be a "nutritionist", means nothing in my book. the truth of the matter is, anyone can be a nutritionist. shoot, i just purchased a $130 book on human nutrition this past semester..i can be coined a nutritionist. the same goes with personal trainers!! everyone and anyone can easily call themself a personal trainer..but really, what's your credibility?? who's the governing body that backs you?!! these may seem like miniscule issues to you, the general public, but for someone who studies this shit..who eats this shit..who sleeps this shit..these are serious problems that demote my education.

so what really backs me?...science, that's what. everything ive learned..from the medical journals..to the labs..to the theories...it's all backed by empirical evidence and knowledge. not some bullshit anectdotal evidence.

wow..i went off tangent there with my rant. what was my point again?

oh yea...be healthy. and fuck the so called "diets" out there. there's no such thing as an effective "diet".

to sum up my multi-thousand dollar education of three years (going into four) for you in one sentence, it'd simply be:

exercise solves everything.

ill spiel more about this in further, upcoming updates..as for now, remember that.

and as for diets, here's the key point about weight control:

to gain weight: what you put in, should EXCEED what you put out.
in other words, consume more calories (eat more) than the energy (calories) you expend.

to maintain weight: what you put in should be EQUAL to the amount you put out..a.k.a. energy input (food value in calories) should equal energy output (energy output via physical activity and exercise)

and finally, the most popular trend that everyone wants to know about and understand...

to lose weight: put in LESS than you put out. stated differently, eat less (food in the form of calories) than what you expend (calories burned).

it's that simple..fuck, it's not rocket science.

one final comment..i can't believe some of friends who are nursing majors (we won't name names, here) are on low-carb, atkin's-like diets. that's retarded. imagine i did the same???

that'd be hypocrisy.

    then again...i think id wanna go to heaven slim. think about it..they got everything there!
    id eat the most disgusting things and never get sick...i'd cut out veggies and probably dash for the nearest cow.
