and why is everyone pumping their A/C's? fuck...the first day of the year the temp climbs above 30 degrees celsius and everyone is suddenly "boiling" to death.

remember, airconditioning is a luxury not a right.
true, some people die from heat stroke..and asthma related causes..but shit...the chances of that happening compared to freezing to death (i.e. why heating in canada is a right not a luxury vs its a/c counterpart) are very remote (for most). anyhow..i guess im just mad that everyone wants to turn on their a/c.

but why..you might ask...didnt i tell you?
i made a personal promise to myself NOT TO voluntarily turn on the a/c until july. and slowly..im thinking of pushing that date till august. but let it be known, if anyone in my house wants to turn it on..then hey, i aint one to complain. like i said, VOLUNTARILY..and PERSONALLY. i cant emphasize that enough. i just wanna get back to pre-a/c days in my home..when we'd live through the sweltering, thick-air conditions, that's all. we've been spoiled. and shit..i just wanna save some cash that's all. eventhough im not the one paying the bills..i think it's nice to budget wherever possible.
and for fuck's sake...the weather's like this BECAUSE us humans use our air-cons in the first place. and i could go on and on about the effects of polluting our air..and burning fossil fuels..but frankly, i dont give a shit at this hour of the nite. so yea...no a/c for me till july.

tell the carrier man to fuck off.
