finally...after what felt like years of waiting, final marks were finally released today online.

i am very happy with the results.
and i am very satisfied with my GPA.

the main thing that most york U students look for at the bottom of their transcripts are the big, bold, screaming words:

YOU MAY CONTINUE IN HONOURS.

finally...i have arrived..my last year as a specialized honours of kinesiology major!
[fists in the air] i am here!!!

however, upon looking down the list at various grades....i noticed that for gender and sport, i got...

....an "F" dun dun dun!!
there's no way i got an "F". i mean i killed in my debates, i rocked my papers...im on really good terms with dr. malszecki...WHATSUPWITDAT?!!!

since my mark for that class wasnt included in my transcript and i did pretty damn good this year...imagine how itd go down if it was included?? my GPA would skyrocket through the roof!!
k, maybe not thru the roof..but it'd be pretty damn high off the ground, that's for sure.
this requires more investigation.

and now...i present to you, an official email to my good friend and professor, dr. malszecki:

subject: hey dr. malszecki!!!

dr. malszecki, how are you? i hope your summer's goin great! i mean we all gotta get those physical activity bouts under the sun while we can, right? haha

anyhow,
this is jason de los reyes (student #_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _) from your winter term gender and sport class. marks were released today (may 27) online and i must say, i am very pleased with all of them. however, when i looked down at my gender and sport mark, the mark given to me was an 'F'...and beside the F it had the acronym "NGR". does this mean 'no grade recorded'?

im pretty sure i did not fail your course.
i mean, that was one of the most interesting and favourite courses i've taken!!
hopefully, the mark failed to reach my online transcript and in actuality, i DID not fail.

in terms of breaks, [this] tied up any loose ends for me.
i never really could put my thumb on the difference between quad step and two-step..and two-step and drum and bass..and trip hop and breakbeats...or the average bristol sound vs stolkholm.

but now we're just talking symantics arent we?
