"Smart men say smart things to convince us of their smartness. It remained for a God to say simple things, to convince us of His Wisdom."

i won't quote the bible; i won't explain anything.

you have questions? they have answers...

wow, i just spent the last hour or so reading a heated debate on a forum posted here.
like i've said in the past, i ain't no preaching fucker.

i'm catholic..and one day, i'll get married and have some kids.
whether she's catholic or not probably won't phase me that much. sure, it'll cushion the situation and make relating to one another a bit easier in the beginning. but a difference in belief/faith is not about to stop me from being intimate with whole groups and demographics of females just waiting to meet a handsome fellow like myself.
and how about the kids, you ask? well, we can teach them from both perspectives of our faith. it's cool.
but back to this point...being catholic.
Catholic vs Christian.
if you didn't know,
to be Catholic is to be Christian
.

i have lots of friends with various faiths; some are muslim, some are jewish, some are baptist, some are orthodox Christian, some are catholic, some hindu, some sikh, some even athiest.
it really doesnt phase me.
i never really get worked up over the whole Catholicism as Christianity bout.
why? because we all believe in one God.
the same applies to Jews and Muslims..whether you believe there was a prophet, muhammed as prophet or jesus as a mere prophet or the son of Him, we all believe in Him.
how you live your lifestyle or how i live mine is not for either of us to judge.
Only God can judge us.
even if you dont believe in God, or one God...or gods...maybe your an aborginal person who praises the power of the earth and nature..maybe you worship the spirits or even voodoo. life is too short to get worked up over that.

sad to say though, faith has been the cause of many the war since the beginning of time.

whatever you believe in (sorry athiests, this doesnt include you), just know that there's a higher power than yourself. when things get rough and tough, and you need some help, you have faith to guide you.
i mean look at me..i got through the 'evolution' section of biology back in the day..and i went to a catholic highschool! how did they include that?

when youre holding your mom's hand waiting for the ambulance to get to your house cause she was having chest pains that late night, faith is all you have.

when she told you about a possible lump in her breast, faith is all you can have.

when the cold chill rushed through your body as you watched the unfolding of all the terror we've witnessed in our lives up to this point, faith is all you can have.

when everything's going apeshit and there's no sunshine, faith is all you can have.

in closing, to the Catholic and the Christian who have been bickering over the past 7 months..and to the thousands who follow in their footsteps, God and Jesus had one vital teaching they wanted us to understand:
love one another
.

"I became a slave to master self
A rich man is one with knowledge, happiness and his health
My mind had dealt with the books of Zen, Tao the lessons
Koran and the Bible, to me they all vital
And got truth within 'em, gotta read them boys
You just can't skim 'em, different branches of belief
But one root that stem 'em, but people of the venom try to trim 'em
And use religion as an emblem
When it should be a natural way of life
Who am I or they to say to whom you pray ain't right
That's who got you doin right and got you this far
Whether you say "in Jesus name" or Hum do Allah
Long as you know it's a bein' that's supreme to you
You let that show towards others in the things you do

I've taken and I've earned
I have laughed, I have cried
I failed and I have tried
Sunshine, pourin rain
I found joy through my pain
Just wanna be happy...bein me
Bein me"

-common sense

peace.
[if you see or hear goodness from me, then that goodness is from The Creator. you should be thankful to The Creator for all of that; cause im not the architect, im only the recipient.
if you see weakness, it's a shortcoming of me; it's from my own weakness, and i ask The Creator and you to forgive me for that]
