anyhow, i haven't been writing here nor on aa for a minute. i guess everyone's awaiting for me to start moving my fingers again...not in their vaginas or anything, i just meant on my keyboard. well it's a sunday - the sunday of a long weekend up here in canada, so what the heck, might as well put jot something down.
you know what makes me happy?...
chicken curry after i've been craving it for like a month. yea!
you know what makes me even happier? a big ass sesame ball for desert. which reminds me, since i'm the neighbourhood grocery bulletin board.
if you live in the southern ontario area...more to the west, in or around the region of peel (that's our county americans, dont laugh too hard), you might wanna check out the latest asian grocery supermarket, just added to our hood. it's just down the street from square one on burnhamthorpe road. it's called big land farm..or something like that. it really is big. about that name, that sounds so ethnic. i can almost hear a chinese man saying it's name, "heyyyy my fren, you come in and shop at big land farm. you enjoy. bye."
????
it's funnier if i do it in person i swear. you gotta hear me. even chinese people laugh at my impersonations. theyre not to offend mind you, that's never my intention.so please new viewers of me, do not be offended. and please, lighten up.
anyhow back to the store...that makes a very good edition to the many asian supermarkets that i have access to right by my pad. dope. this new one though, big land farm or big farm land or big land of farms, whatever its called...it's pretty elegant, i gotta add. very nice. very. they got everything in there.
im sorry i had to dedicate a whole entry to this, but i get all sentimental when i see asians making it pretty darn big. don't mind the tears of joy from this grown man (we'll just imagine that someone kicked me in the groin reeeeal hard, aite?). anyhow, there, i made the grocery announcement. it's called big land farm. its on burnhamthorpe in place where the old canadian tire used to be, just next door to the old consumer's gas building.
it's huge. it's clean. it has everything you want in there. or never wanted...i mean, i personally have no use for chicken's feet [recalls beautiful childhood years when i choked on dim sum chicken feet...whatta stupid kid i was..and still am for that matter]. but yea, it has everything you want. fruits...a noodle section..free samples like in priceclub, whoops, i mean costco...and even a little dining area where food is served...you can get pho...bbq..whatever the hell you want! and let's not forget the baker section...with, of course, my favourite, egg tarts!..yesss...glorious, drool-inducing, egg tarts...oh yea baby..yeaaa baby! who's your daddy egg tart? who's your da-....
i've been eating these since waaay back when. it's staple for me.
...whoa. got kinda carried away there for a sec. but yea, if you want me to do anything for you, and you're not brooke burke, just cop me some egg tarts and your wish is my command.
but yea, big land farms...it's like a whiteman supermarket...no kidding. you gotta check it out. usually asian supermarkets are kinda shady and filthy...this one's on it's own level. so yea, check that out with your parents..yourself..or even your pet worm.
there, i said it. now go.
my balls were huge!
you shoulda seen 'em today.
one more thing, i got daredevil and phonebooth here on dvd rental..also, i got animatrix...matrix reloaded...and matrix all on disc..so holla! im up for a long nite of flicks. peace.
