Remember me (?)

i just slept for 4 hours - considering what time i came home last nite.
so much for me remembering to flick my blinds shut; the sun ended up waking my ass up as it's blazing through my window as i type this..but yea...on to my conclusion..and connection to my last post below...

they were all guys last nite!!
that must be it!
must be!
(right, rj? hahahahhaha)

ok, back to bed...or run... or read this book that i just noticed over top on my computer desk entitled "the case for Christ".
i picked it up, actually was handed it on campus during first year's frosh festivities (can you believe it's been 3 years already?? wtf!!!). anyhow, i just skimmed through it. sounds like a book that i'd read while on the crapper. my house needs magazines and books in our washrooms. i like when i go to my friends' washrooms and they got british fhm...some cosmo...and audio/video magazines..very informative.

in my case, i might just plant this book in the downstairs john.
i really dont know why books like this are handed off to catholics like me and other catholics..not to mention other followers of other branches of Christianity.

itll solidify your belief about the Lord....but it's faith!
if you believe...and you have faith...then i honestly don't feel there's a need for scientific and tangible evidence such as this book trying to convince me.
this goes for all forms of religion and spirtuality.
some things are meant to be unexplained, yet believed. this is faith, the unknowing but all believing.

there will always be that sense of divine mystery behind religion and spirituality which is why we have it to guide us. so let's just leave it at that, shall we?

do all the proving or disproving you want...my level of faith hasn't been tweaked.
and as far as im concerned....some things dont require scientific evidence or an explanation.
that's why it's called faith and not knowing.

and really...they should've gave this book to 'non-believers'. i really think those folks are who this literature is targeted towards. but then again...those Christian scholars probably were handing them out to 'prospects' and in my case...me, being the cheap-ass i am...figured, "hey, free!"..which is why i grabbed this $8.99 (canadian dollars) book for free. and now that i think about it...i honestly believe that's why i also took the free copy of "towards understanding Islam". ahhhh, enlightenment.
yes...that, too,

must be it!

and please, keep your "preach on brotha" comments to yourself. i really dont like preaching. if i did, id be a televangelist..and hey, youd all probably tune in to watch me sweat and make people faint..and ask for your financial support to fund my tacky gold jewellery, pseudo-coiffe and my outdated suit while i have this really desperate facial expression, all moaning and groaning.

but yea...dont take that as preaching. i wasnt trying to convince anyone of any faith. i was just explaining my faith's intent.
it's early and hey..that was just a simple public announcement to start your day off right.

GOOD MORNING, GOD!

(*known/tangible/unfortunate to know me - friends* by the way...there are filipino independence day festivities today...holla back if ya'll wanna head down later.)

106 years of "filipinoness"!!
