if youre like me at this age, for whatver reason, and youre having trouble saving cash, here's an article i came across as i was signing out of my email...it's like they knew!

other than that, my personal advice is to not pack plastic or cash when you dont need to. for instance, say youre at the mall or at school; and there's really no need to buy those impulsive buy things, well just pack enough for you to buy whatever you came to the mall for. try and abstain from packing plastic. this often works for me in cases where i wanna eat when i dont need to eat, but eat just because i pass by the foodcourt. there's no absolute science to it - if you dont have the cash on you, you cant buy it.

also, what im personally doing, as i did back in grade 11 when i bought this $1600 now-outdated pc, is dividing my pay cheques into percentages. every check i put aside a mere 25% for my self. this forces me to ration my cash and save while the remaining 75% goes to everything from tuition, books, monthly bus passes and crack cocaine...i mean charitable donations.

we're gonna die
this is probably one of the most black-humourized statments i'll ever make, but we're gonna fucking die.
how the hell was it 20 or so degrees above the seasonal average here where i live on thursday? the winters seem warmer and the summers seem colder; california has snow in some areas that never get snow...the whole tsunami thing...rising gas prices.
mother earth/nature must be pissed. and as blineguy puts it, they (the powers that be - mass media and govt officials) arent telling us everything. are we mining for too much oil? did we strike a nerve in the earth that elicited a reflex? are we polluting too much? dont our computers give off emissions? and those high protein/low carb diets...you are giving off more Carbon dioxide, if you didnt know. maybe im just trippin'; maybe im a conspiracy theorist; or a simple propagandist. who the hell knows? all i know is, it wasn't supposed to be 17 degrees celsius on thursday. then again, we're back to 'normal' frigid conditions. this often makes me think about how i, and other filipinos, and basically anyone else who's roots stem from along the equator who now live along the same parallel as ontario across the globe, are probably the most well-designed human beings on earth. think about it, you were designed for equatorial conditions, yet you've adapted to this subarctic bullshit. you can probably eat glass for breakfast and guzzle down a meal-replacement shake of lava - that's how fucking tough you are, kids.

another playlist.
last year about the same time, i made a couple mds and playlists that consisted of some really good hip hop gems that otherwise would've been ignored by most of you. since the beginning of this year, i've been listening to a lot of funk and classic rock (due to my rock class; the funk due to my own personal preference). i realize that i've drifted away from hip hop just a smidgen...however, don't mistake that for me losing my love for the art. with that said, i'll share a playlist similar to others, that i put together while trying to imagine myself on the late nite bus ride home from school. give it a listen, you just might like it.
