ask me where i thought i'd be right now:
5 years agoand i'd say finishing up my bachelor's and awaiting entry into the nearest schools of chiropractic medicine, sports medicine or physiotherapy.
10 years agoand my parents
and even myself would say awaiting entry into the nearest school of medicine or orthodontic dentistry.
18 years agoand i'd say working on becoming the first filipino/asian prime minister
(i shudder at the thought of this one)
right nowand the future is still uncertain.
teaching whether it be at the highschool and eventually university level is in my heart.
a
master's or even
phD in kinesiology isn't so far-fetched.
exercise therapist, too, seems to be more and more promising.
then again, an
ergonomist working for a major athletic shoe company (ahem, preferably one that exploits the underdevloped world and my peoples in sweatshops, in addition to one that is mediocre in performance at best) also isn't so bad either.
in the grand scheme of things i wouldn't mind fulfilling a partial-life-long dream of opening up a unique and cutting edge
fitness centre/gym in partnership with some peers.
some high-end
personal training is a nice side-gig too (gatdammit, you best believe that i know im qualified enough to charge $90bucks/session~!)
it's funny 'cause throughout my experience in university and in this particular faculty, i've been exposed to so many different facets of human movement. as corny as this self-introspect may seem, i'm kinda excited and enlightened at the fact that all of the above are at my disposal. then again, this could all just be the voice of a confused man talking.
then again, it's not. aww hell naw, i know it's not.
i call it ambition.
stay tuned for which door i'll choose...

[a possible glance into my future?
my wife, son and i...except we're all
much better looking, not caucasian
and have way more sex with eachother
(minus my son, you sickos);
for physical activity benefits of course, geez]
