the new season of zed will start soon. in the meantime and to halt this waiting and questioning of the show's well-being, i'd like to provide the head's up that a segment of the "best of zed' will be airing this tuesday (nov. 29) at 11:25pm (according to where you are in canada or elsewhere in the universe via satellite).
but back to the macedonian-chinese thing...ziya tong, from my own personal deductive reasoning has left the show and moved on to bigger and better things (although she didn't have to go to the islands to find me - the island golden boy..i'm right here in t.o., ziya, duh!).
was she bigger than the show? probably.
she is the one who caught my attention that one night last year or two years ago and had me even consider watching the show. after that, the documentaries and live performances themselves had me hooked.
will i continue to watch the show? of course.
it's one of canada's hidden gems. canada's best showcased for the world andshowcasing the world's best (and unknowns on top of that).
whatever the case, after i hand in this assignment and have some well-deserved celebratory beverages with my peers, im catching the late bus home just in time to catch this long awaited show to come back.
i'm talking shorts of course. and longs. but mainly shorts...and i don't mean danny deVito or webster; i mean films.
hopefully, we'll see ziya grace our screens again. hopefully.
ATTENTION: likewise, i should let you all know, that i'm 100% sure that "gotmilkfart?" (yes, this blog) will be closing by the end of the year (that's 1 month, y'all!). details later....
fuck man..back to work. this break is history.
