d is for downhill

d is for d'angelo

d'angelo went downhill since i last saw him back in 2001 or so. i remember d - he was ripped. the girls wanted him and dudes wish they were him. i miss his music. last i heard he was in the studio putting together another release for now. more recently, d survived an ugly car crash. thank God he made it through that with mere cuts and scrapes.

d is for digestion
2 beers, a steak sandwich and a beer for after. then head to club and have a beer. all within a 2 hour span. fucking disgusting. and since when has it been customary for me to drink AND eat? i'm more and more european everyday. however, i found it more fun hanging out with my coworkers for dinner tonight that with my boys later on at the club...not so much because my boys suck..'cause you know you don't. just because the club sucked.

d is for the desolation on the dance floor
...maybe i've outgrown the scene. we've exhausted all facets. it's as old and tired as the rave scene when we played it out back in grade 11. the asian club scene - i can't do anymore because everyone wants to kill each other and all asian guys in clubs swear theyre gangsters on top of thinking that someone's gonna kidnap their girlfriends (buddy, your girl looks like a horse water buffalo!! im not that drunk). the latin club scene is mediocre at best. i can't do the 'i just turned 19' scene because everyone's so desperate - guys and girls. we're currently into (if you can even say 'into') the mid-late 20's scene because the crowd is a bit more mature and sophisticated (i really hate any environment with doo-rags) honest) on top of playing really good old school/new jack/house sets. i think the next transition will be into more of the lounge scene. that seems like the next step/level to be graduated into. who knows? maybe i can't even afford this anymore.

other than that...it was a good night and day.
i took the day off tomorrow (technically "today") so i'll have 2 whole days to finish up this assignment. for now, im gonna throw my jogging pants on, scratch my itch and fall asleep.

in closing, i can't even date young girls anymore because i dont think i can keep up. it's 2am - i should've been to bed 4 hours ago.

d is for damn.
